Al Mustafa Poverty Relief Foundation is a UK registered charity. NO 1201503.

Our organisation's purpose is for the prevention or relief of poverty for people residing in the

poor communities of Pakistan, Kenya and Afghanistan.

 

With most poor people in Kenya who do not have the means to support themselves, with lack of jobs and low salaries most

people are suffering The collapse of Afghanistan's economy people have been facing a lot of

loss and most of its population is starving. They need humanitarian assistance.

A great aspect of this charity will be supporting boys and adults affected by Duchene

Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) which is a serious genetic muscle disease.

This is a progressive disease usually diagnosed in boys aged 3-6". There are different stages

of Duchenne the care changes in each stage. Early symptoms include delay in the ability to

sit and stand independently, large calf muscles. The condition starts from early ambulatory

where DMD child may find walking difficult and tiptoe. Late ambulatory as the thigh muscle

weakens further the child with DMD finds walking difficult they start requiring mobility

scooters or wheelchairs. Regular lung test flows are needed as the lung muscle weakens,

regular echocardiogram is needed for the heart, night splints and corticosteroids.

This charity with your help will support these boys and their families to get the right help

that they need.

These are looking for humanitarian assistance and contributions.

We will also be looking to support other orphans, where you can join the orphan

sponsorship programme.

We could support widows and those with serious living conditions with the

procurement and distribution of food, clothing, shelter, water supply in terms of pumps,

wheelchair support, food pack and medical aid.

 

You can support a boy with Duchenne or an orphan project, food packs or

wheelchair assistance.
